A maths class that runs itself
MathGames bundles two catalogs — strategy games and virtual labs — built so that students can do real maths without installing anything. You create a group, they join with a link, and they start playing and exploring. You decide what to run each session, watch everything happen in real time, and take home recorded games and progress data.
A broad, hand-picked catalog
Every game and every lab is designed by mathematicians to connect with a specific concept: combinatorics, logic, symmetry, game theory, dynamics, information theory…
- ▸ Strategy games — Nim, Trios, Hex, Dots & Boxes, Margarita, Kamisado, Four features, Last coin and more. Each playable against another student or a computer with three difficulty levels. Most games can be recorded and replayed move by move.
- ▸ Virtual labs — deterministic chaos, symmetry, RSA and prime numbers, the catenary, exchange and till math, neural networks, information and compression, climatology, cellular aging… Each lab is 8-20 rooms with animations, sliders, real data and quizzes.
Friction-free groups for students
You create a group in three clicks and get a unique invite link. The student opens it, writes their name, and they're in: no email, no password, nothing to install. You see all the students in the group, their recent activity, and you can deactivate accounts or move a student to another group whenever you like.
Competitions with live ranking
Create a competition for any game — just pick the group, the game, the levels and, if you want, a chess-clock-style time limit per game. Students are matched automatically, see the live ranking and compete for spots. You watch it all from a teacher dashboard listing every active game with the podium refreshing on each win.
Synchronised virtual labs
Launch a lab for your group and they all join at once. Each student advances through the rooms at their own pace, and you see who is in which room in real time, with a side panel that lets you peek at their screen, drop hints, message a single student or send the whole class to a specific room. Whenever a student answers, you see their choice. Ideal for computer-room lessons. And if you want to walk the class through something from the front, switch to Demo Mode: pull everyone into the same room and run the activity yourself while the students only watch.
You see everything your students do
Every game and every lab is logged under the student's name. Sort by date, filter by game or lab, see duration, hits and misses, and replay the game or rooms as if you were next to the student. Recorded games can be shared with another teacher or published so the student can review them at home.
Three languages, no install
The whole platform — interface, rules, teacher panels, messages — is available in Spanish, English and Russian. All you need is a modern browser; it runs on laptops, tablets and phones. No app to install, no server to set up.
