Race to the corner — Rook vs Computer
Rules — Race to the corner
- There is a single chess piece on the board, shared by both players.
- Players take turns moving that same piece — you don't own it.
- You may only move up, right, or diagonally up-right — never left, never down.
- Whoever moves the piece onto the top-right corner 🏁 wins.
- You cannot pass your turn.
How each piece may move (only forward directions count):
- Rook (level 1): any number of squares up, or any number of squares right.
- King (level 2): exactly one square, up / right / diagonally up-right.
- Queen (level 3): any number of squares up, right, or diagonally up-right.
- Super-queen (level 4): everything the queen can do, plus the two "forward" knight jumps: two right + one up, or one right + two up.
The small dots show every square the piece can legally move to from where it is. Click one to move the piece there — the piece and the legal squares update automatically for the next turn.
Only forward directions are ever shown: up, right, or diagonally up-right, depending on the piece. The flag 🏁 marks the corner both players are racing toward.
